Butter refers to the texture of the product, not the content. Fruit Butter has no fat at all, since there's none in the fruit or the sugar that we use. We make our butters from whole select fruit that is pureed and cooked to a smooth spread able consistency. All of our butters are great on hot biscuits or muffins as well as in cakes and other baked goods.
