The final weekend of the National Maple Syrup Festival is this Saturday, March 13th and Sunday, March 14th from 9:00am to 5:00pm—come out and join us!
Tickets and parking for the National Maple Syrup Festival will be available at the Medora Community School (82 South George Street,
Medora, IN 47260). Tickets or parking WILL NOT be available at Burton’s Maplewood Farm. A shuttle will be available to provide transportation to and from the school and the festival grounds. For directions to the Medora Community School, click here.
Due to all the activities going on this weekend, not all calls left on the festival line can be returned right away - but we will try our best! Also, we’re getting calls about whether dogs are allowed...Yes, they are!

AMY ROLOFF AT NATIONAL MAPLE SYRUP FESTIVAL MARCH 13th & 14th
TLC'S star AMY ROLOFF from "Little People Big World" will be our Special Guest at this year's Festival. Amy will be attending the Maple Syrup Festival on the weekend of March 13th and 14th and will be welcoming the crowd at 9am at the Medora Community School. She will then be heading up to Burton's Maplewood Farm at 9:30am to "kick off" the weekend event by tapping a maple tree and starting up the evaporator. Amy will be available for photos with festival guests before heading back up to the school to be a judge at the King Arthur "Sweet Victory Challenge" competition which starts at 11am.
NATIONAL MAPLE SYRUP FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES FIRST WEEKEND SPECIAL GUESTS
It’s been 200 years since the pioneering Flinn family moved to southern Indiana, but the sap still runs sweet from the trees. Jacob Flinn, the great-great-great-great-great grandfather of Angie Burton of Burton’s Maplewood, is famous for his capture and escape from the Potawatomi after the Leesville Massacre of 1813. To honor his legacy, three of Jacob’s direct descendants – his great-great-great grandchildren – will be the special guests March 6th and 7th.

King Arthur Flour Sponsors Sweet Victory Challenge at National Maple Syrup Festival
Just as maple-sugaring season gets underway in 2010, amateur home cooks and bakers nationwide will have an opportunity to showcase their best recipes using maple syrup at this year’s Sweet Victory Challenge sponsored by King Arthur Flour at the National Maple Syrup Festival in Medora, Indiana.
Are you a historical re-enactor, demonstrator, or vendor interested in participating in the 2010 National Maple Syrup Festival? The deadline for Sutler & Demonstrator applications is Feb. 15th, 2010.
This is our "Kid Crate" that comes ready to please children young and old. Our Apple Cinnamon Pancake & Waffle mix makes the perfect pancake stack to smother with our 100% pure maple syrup (8.5 oz.). The Strawberry Preserve are just as tasty on a stack of flap jacks. Enjoy "Grandpa's Sugarbush" later that night for that favorite bedtime story!
